Matt Almanza is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for providing high-quality patient-centered care for all patients.
He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado Denver in Sociology with minors in Biology and Multidisciplinary Research Methods. He continued his education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies and was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship.
Both in the clinic and in the community, Matt is devoted to health education and health equity. This also inspired him to complete a service of two years with the Peace Corps in the country of Paraguay as a Community Health Volunteer.
Outside of practicing medicine, Matt enjoys traveling, bicycling, trying new foods, and taking his dog Beni out for walks.
