Dr. Andrea Jochim, a dedicated healthcare professional with 9 years of experience, holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Medicine. Completing her Residency and Fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle, Dr. Jochim has received several accolades, including the UTSW Department of Family Medicine Preceptor of the Year in 2022 and the University of Washington Continuing Reproductive Education for Advanced Training Efficacy Program Award in 2017. She was also awarded the Training Efficacy Program Award in 2017, the Dr. Barnett A. Slepian Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Health in 2017, the Medical Students for Choice Clinical Training Grant Award in 2017, and the National Health Service Corps Student to Service Award in 2014. She is a proud member of various medical organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of HIV Medicine, American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, North American Primary Care Research Group, and Reproductive Health Access Project. Outside of her medical commitments, Dr. Jochim finds joy in spending time in nature and with her cats.
