North Texas Giving Day is on Thursday, September 22, 2022, and HHM Health is proud to announce that we will be participating in this wonderful event! North Texas Giving Day is a one-day, online event that encourages the citizens of North Texas to give back to their community and support their favorite charitable organization. Early giving opens September 1, allowing additional time to give for those who cannot on September 22, and for those who would like to give a little extra this season.
For every dollar donated to HHM Health, 74 cents will go directly toward patient care as we raise money to fight health disparities in Dallas. Dallas County is one of the most uninsured counties in the United States of America. Because of this, many refuse to see a doctor as they fear health care expenses and costly examinations. At HHM Health, we believe everyone deserves equal access to health care, which is why our doctors and staff provide affordable health care to the residents of Dallas regardless of race, gender, culture, ethnicity, language, mental or physical disability, or manner of payment. If a patient does not have health insurance, they are seen on a sliding-scale fee.
Over the last year, HHM Health locations across Dallas have treated 40,000 patients, proving that the need for affordable healthcare is greater now more than ever before! HHM Health has eight locations across Dallas County, which include two family practices, women’s health, two pediatrics, dental, behavioral health, and the Rosewood Vision Center. Currently, HHM Health relies heavily on donations and federal grants. With your donation, HHM Health will be able to help more patients than ever before.
