Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are contracted with the following commercial insurance companies: Solstice (300B, 550B, 5200B, 5700B, 500B, 800B, 5100B, 5500B, 5800B) and Blue Cross Blue Sheild Dental

  • CHIP (MCNA, DentaQuest, UHC-Dental)

Regular visits to the dentist are crucial for maintaining optimal oral health and overall well-being. According to the American Dental Association (ADA) and the World Health Organization (WHO), routine dental check-ups help in the early detection and prevention of dental issues, such as cavities, gum disease, and oral cancers. These visits allow for timely treatment, which can significantly reduce the risk of more extensive and costly dental procedures in the future. Moreover, oral health is intricately linked to one’s overall health, making regular dental visits an essential part of a holistic approach to well-being.

  • Our team of dentists recommend that you visit our dental clinic at least once a year to monitor your oral health and receive a regular cleaning. However, there are situations where additional visits may be necessary. Please consider visiting our dentists if you notice any of the following signs:
  • Bleeding after brushing or flossing
  • Significant gum recession
  • Frequently dry mouth
  • Sharp toothaches
  • Sensitivity to cold, hot, or sweets
  • Teeth that are changing color or becoming darker
  • Oral lesions like discolorations on your gums/cheeks/lips or bumps
  • Damaged or loose teeth
  • Bad breath or taste in your mouth

You will have digital low-radiation x-rays taken to see your teeth and bone structure, as some conditions cannot be diagnosed without them. You will have basic vitals taken, like blood pressure, temperature and weight. Your dentist will do a thorough review of your medical and dental history and examine your x-rays. If you have any issues that may be tied to your overall health, you can make an appointment with an HHM medical provider on the spot. The dentist will then perform an oral examination, where you will have your teeth and soft tissues checked for any cavities or other pathologies. This exam also includes an oral cancer screening, as well as a thorough periodontal (gum) exam, to check for gum disease. After reviewing all findings with you, you will obtain a personalized treatment plan to address your concerns, and referrals (if indicated) to receive specialty or additional services not offered at HHM Health.

  • Wisdom teeth extractions
  • Braces
  • Dentures (complete or partial)
  • Gum surgery

*If there is a service you need that we do not provide, we have a network of facilities where you can be referred. (Facilities we refer to have their own fees.)
