Healing Hands Ministries is closely monitoring the progress of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Safety of our patients and their families is of utmost importance to us. In order to minimize the spread of this virus, we ask our patients if they are ill to contact us prior to coming to any of our facilities. The preferred method for contact is through the patient portal. To access the patient portal, follow these steps: 1) Download the Healow app free at the Apple store or Google play   Search for the HHM practice by entering practice code – AJDGBD. 3) Enter your portal username and password to log in. 4) Set up PIN securely to access your health record or request a TeleVisit. If the patient portal is unavailable, then call us directly at (214) 221-0855.

If you are ill with COVID-19, the symptoms should appear within 2-14 days after exposure and include fever, cough and shortness of breath. The best way to prevent infection is to: (1) Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (2) Do not touch your face (3) Stay at least three feet away from anyone coughing or sneezing. (4) Avoid physical contact when greeting.  Additionally, the risk factors for becoming infected include: (1) travel to the following locations or encountering someone that is ill and has traveled to one of these locations. These locations include Washington State, California, New York State, China, Iran, South Korea, Italy, Japan, or Hong Kong. (2) If you or anyone in your family has recently been in close contact with someone that has been (or suspected to be) diagnosed with coronavirus. (3) If your school has had a child (or parent) diagnosed with coronavirus recently.

Our administrative team is keeping up to date with local news reports, official releases, Center for Disease Control, State of Texas and Federal information. Additionally, we are in communication with multiple hospitals and experts in our area. As schools and businesses continue to close, we will respond accordingly to our patient’s needs.
